The other half of the Horry County couple charged in the death of Heather Elvis was released from jail on Monday afternoon.
Sidney Moorer, age 38, now joins his wife Tammy Moorer, age 42, free on $100,000 bond in the case of 20-year-old Elvis’ disappearance and murder.
Both were released on bond after a hearing on Friday in which a circuit court judge heard arguments for letting the pair out of a jail after 11 months.

Tammy Moorer was released around 6 pm Friday after her mother put her house up as collateral.
Sidney Moorer was released around 2:10 pm Monday and it appeared that Tammy Moorer was there — holding the door open at an awaiting silver SUV.
Sidney Moorer didn’t have anything to say when he was asked if he had any comments for the Elvis family. After loading a suitcase and paper bag into the back of the SUV, he sped off from the jail.

Over the weekend, an attorney said that Tammy Moorer’s mother’s house would also be worth enough for collateral for Sidney Moorer’s bond. The house was already used for Tammy Moorer’s bond on Friday.
The release of the pair comes after a nearly 2-hour hearing Friday morning in which a judge in Charleston set bond at $100,000 for each of the Moorers after state prosecutors admitted they have no direct evidence against the couple.
Attorneys for the Moorers — who had been held on no bond for nearly a year — argued in court Friday morning for a bond in the case of the murder and disappearance of 20-year-old Heather Elvis of Myrtle Beach.
The pair are charged with kidnapping and the death of Elvis, who disappeared in mid-December 2013 — and has still not been found.

But, also at the hearing, Heather Elvis’ parents told Judge R. Markley Dennis that they have had a “massive amount of threats” from the Moorers, their family and supporters — and that those threats have continued.
“We’re asking you to continue bond in the amount that it can continue to protect us,” Debbi Elvis, Heather’s mom, told the judge.
Judge R. Markley Dennis set certain circumstances to the bond, including GPS monitoring and keeping the Moorers at least 5 miles from the Elvis home. Denis also said that the Moorers must have no direct or indirect contact with the Elvis’ and warned about Facebook.
“Facebook and those things are a scourge on our society,” Dennis said. “Stay away from them!”
