MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Two men were shot at Koyote Saloon in Myrtle Beach early Friday morning, and police say one of those men has died.

An Horry County police report states officers were called to the bar, located at 3506 Waccamaw Boulevard, for the shooting shortly after 2 a.m. Friday morning. When officers arrived, they found multiple shell casings and vehicles with bullet holes.

The report says Grand Strand Medical Center called police to advise a gunshot victim has been brought to the hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Michelle McSpadden of the Horry County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 26-year-old Reginald Washington of New York.

A second victim of the bar shooting was taken to South Strand Hospital, where he was rushed into surgery. That victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

The police report says two vehicles were towed to the police impound lot for processing. Neither a suspect description nor motive for the shooting has been released by police.

In a tweet Horry County Police say the bar has been closed and their business license revoked “as a direct result of numerous incidents and infractions”.
