Conway police and Horry County police are investigating after shots were fired in the area where a vehicle with a woman and a child inside were shot at.
Investigators say shots were fired and multiple shell casings were found on Hemingway Chapel Road, according to Taylor Newell, with the City of Conway.
Newell also says those shooting were not shooting into a development and were shooting on the road. No one was injured in the shooting.
Detectives are taking statements from witnesses, Newell also says.
The Horry County Police Department is assisting the Conway Police Department.
A vehicle with a woman and her child was shot at in the area of the 1500 block of Hemingway Chapel Road on Tuesday. No one was injured in that incident.
