FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Thousands of people attended the 50+ Senior Life Expo at the Florence Civic Center Saturday.
Senior were given the chance to get the necessary information for things like retirement.
According to officials at the Florence Civic Center, the expo is one of the largest shows in South Carolina for senior citizens for the last 20 years.
This year’s expo features demonstrations, vendors, seminars and free entertainment.
Attendees can browse ways for making retirement healthier and more rewarding.
One woman who came to the event says this isn’t her first time and it won’t be her last.
“I’m truly blessed to be 102 years old and it’s nice to come out, walk around, and enjoy this convention,” said Ethel Saulters.
The 50+ Senior Expo ended Saturday at 2 p.m.. Organizers say the expo will return around this time next year.
