GALIVANTS FERRY, SC (WBTW) — A second person had died after a crash Friday night in the Galivants Ferry section of Horry County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says just after 11 p.m. a pickup truck ran a stop sign and struck a car traveling on Jordanville Road.
The driver of the car died from the crash. SCHP says they do not know whether the driver of the car was wearing a seat belt because the car caught on fire after it was struck by the truck.

Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick announced on Monday that Patrick Lefebvre, 20, died from head injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. He and the passenger in his car were taken to the hospital.
