FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WBTW) – The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office says one man has been arrested on multiple child sex charges.
According to a release from the sheriff’s office Facebook page, the Scotland County Detective Division obtained warrants on Treyvon Dontrice McNeill of Fayetteville on September 30.
McNeill is charged with two counts of statutory rape of a child, one count statutory sex offense of a child, and one count of indecent liberties with a child.
McNeill was arrested by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office on November 9. He was placed in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $400,000 secured bond but has since been transported to the Scotland Detention Center.
The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office says the complaint was originally filed in March of 2013 and was left open by the previous administration.
