Two South Carolina high school students were arrested after police say they took pictures looking up teachers’ dresses — and then spread the photos to others at the school, police say.

Duncan Police Chief C.E. Long said that Gavin Alling, 17, of Lyman and Richard Darrell West, 18, of Duncan are charged with voyeurism and disturbing school. The pair both are students at Byrnes High School in Duncan, officials say.

One of the students used a cell phone to snap the picture and then sent it to the other student, according to investigators. According to police, that student then took his cell phone and also took a picture up another teacher’s dress.

The photos were then sent around the school, police said.

The school district says Alling and West will be recommended for expulsion per its policy and discipline code.

“District Five Schools takes matters of teacher and staff privacy extremely seriously,” a statement from the school reads.

“When students are accused of breaking the law in regards to such privacy, we will deal with them accordingly.”
