SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. – Two Byrnes High School students were arrested after police say they took pictures looking up teachers’ dresses.Duncan Police Chief C.E. Long tells us Gavin Alling, 17, of Lyman and Richard Darrell West, 18, of Duncan are charged with voyeurism and disturbing school.

One of the students used a cell phone to snap the picture and then sent it to the other student, according to investigators. That student then took his cell phone and also took a picture up another teacher’s dress.

The photos were sent around the school.

The school district says Alling and West will be recommended for expulsion per its policy and discipline code.

“District Five Schools takes matters of teacher and staff privacy extremely seriously,” a statement from the school reads. “When students are accused of breaking the law in regards to such privacy, we will deal with them accordingly.”
