A Greenville nurse faces criminal sexual conduct charges after police said she sexually abused a young patient more than 25 years ago.
Rebecca Haney, 54, of Lawrenceville, Ga., who is still a nurse, surrendered to Greenville Police on Tuesday morning.
According to the arrest warrant, the victim was a 15-year-old girl and a was patient at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
The warrant says the sexual abuse happened in an office restroom in 1988.
Haney has an active nursing license in South Carolina. She has no prior criminal history and no actions against her nursing license.
Haney was released on a $15,000 personal recognizance bond.
