A young South Carolina mother of three died in a crash late Thursday night.

The single-car wreck happened on Old Gunter Road near Pelzer in Greenville County, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Troopers say that around 11 pm Jessica Crumpler, age 23 of Greenville, ran off the road and hit a tree.

She was pronounced dead on the scene from multiple blunt force trauma, according to the Greenville County coroner.

Crumpler, who leaves behind 2 young daughters and a son, was a 2009 graduate of Southside High School in Greenville, according to her Facebook profile.

Crumpler was trapped inside of the car and had to be removed by mechanical means, according to South Greenville Fire Department.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office are still investigating.
