SC man shoots at turtle, ricochet hits worker says witness

SPARTANBURG, SC – Spartanburg County dispatch says deputies they responded to a reported shooting on the 400 block of Saranac Drive.

We know at least one person has been taken to the hospital.

A witness says a man was target practicing and shot at a turtle.

The bullet ricocheted and hit a contractor working on the property.

We do not know the extent of the injury, but the witness said the man is expected to be fine.
