HEMINGWAY, SC (WBTW) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Williamsburg County Thursday morning.
According the SCHP website, the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near Clifton Road and SC 41/51. That’s just outside Hemingway.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Judd Jones said only one vehicle was involved in the crash. The driver was in a 1993 Ford pick-up truck headed east Jones said. The truck went through the intersection at Highway 41/51 and hit a ditch, Jones said.
The Williamsburg County Coroner has not released the name of the driver who died.
