DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – On a very hot and sunny day at the Darlington Raceway, NASCAR Monster Energy Cup series driver Ryan Newman unveiled what he plans to drive on Labor Day weekend. Newman will be paying tribute to Mark Martin’s 1993 Southern 500 win with his paint scheme in Oscar Meyer wiener colors of orange, red, and yellow. Newman will be chasing after his first Southern 500 win in 2019, he has finished in second place before.
The 2019 edition of the Bojangles Southern 500 will be on Sunday, September 1 at 6pm.
