FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Dozens of children in the Pee Dee will get gifts this Christmas thanks to the workers at Ruiz Foods.
The company’s Ruiz for Kids Program partnered with the Salvation Army in Florence and employees bought presents for 75 children.
Workers delivered the Christmas cheer to the Salvation Army offices Thursday afternoon.
“They want to enjoy dolls and they also want to enjoy bikes. Bikes are always popular this time of the year and their seeing that and the people of Ruiz Foods have been so generous in adopting these angels and then providing them with the bikes that they’ve ask for for Christmas,” Major Chris Thornhill, Corps Officer Florence Salvation Army said.
In addition to bicycles and dolls, clothes were the most popular gift item.
