Robeson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a North Carolina man in connection to a murder.
According to Major Anthony Thompson, deputies were called to a home on McGoogan Farm Road, Shannon, NC at 12:41 a.m. March 15, 2015.
Authorities found Marvin Ray Jones, 33, of , Shannon, North Carolina dead beside a van.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Deputies arrested Joshua Earl Maynor, 27 of North Carolina.
He is charged with second degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Maynor is in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $106,000 secured bond.
