ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WBTW) – Deputies in Robeson County are searching for the person or people responsible for an overnight shooting that left one person dead and sent another to a hospital.
According to Sheriff Kenneth Sealey with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office the shooting happened around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning at a nightclub on Highway 130 outside Maxton City limits.
Sealey says a disturbance broke out and then multiple shots were fired.
Deputies are now trying to develop leads for a person of interest.
The victim’s name is not being released until family is notified.
