LUMBERTON (WBTW) — Robeson County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man they say shot and killed someone near Fairmont on Friday evening.
According to a press release, the shooting came after an argument at a home on Leggett Road around 6:40 p.m. Friday.
Deputies said 32-year-old Jamie Lee Scott (who lived at the home) and 32-year-old Joey Faulk were arguing, and then they said Faulk left, came back with a gun, and shot and killed Scott.
Faulk is charged with first-degree murder and is in the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
