CONWAY, SC – Beginning the evening of June 22, resurfacing work will begin on Carolina Forest Boulevard, from the fire station/Covington Lakes entrance to River Oaks Drive. This project will only take place in the evenings between 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. to reduce the traffic impacts to the area and is expected to be completed in three weeks, weather permitting.
Again, all work will be done in the evenings (excluding Friday and Saturday) and motorists can expect some delays in nighttime traffic due to single lane closures. Flaggers will assist motorists through the active construction zone.
