You’ll hear “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” and “Jessie’s Girl” by Rick Springfield at the Myrtle Beach Speedway Amphitheater on August 27, 2016.

Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician Rick Springfield along with Night Ranger and The Romantics are coming live in concert to the Myrtle Beach Speedway Amphitheater August 27, 2016 at 8pm. “We’re so excited to have the pop icon Rick Springfield, Night Ranger and The Romantics come to Myrtle Beach Speedway Amphitheater because we know it’s going to be a huge hit with everyone! Rick Springfield who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody,” and “Human Touch” will entertain thousands of people at every age in Myrtle Beach. Though too self-deprecating to discuss his immense appeal, he will acknowledge that the fans connect with him through the music. “I guess they think I’m honest. They must like my approach, what I write about. I think they like that I have a sense of humor in it at times. Because the ‘cute’ thing isn’t going to last forever” said Rick Springfield.
In 1983, Night Ranger earned wide spread acclaim with their-platinum album Midnight Madness, which included their smash hits “Sister Christian,” When You Close Your Eyes” and the anthemic “(You Can Still) Rock in America”.
The original members of The Romantics-Wally Palmar, Jimmy Marinos, Mike Skill and Rich Cole-formally became a band on Valentine’s Day, 1977. Bred on the mean streets of Detroit’s east side, they were inspired by the British punk invasion and their hometown rock scene. Nearly 30 years later they are still known for having created some of the most influential and beloved rock and roll of all time.
