CONWAY, SC (Press Release) – The Horry County Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) have teamed up to capture, and investigate the murder believed to have been committed by, Lakenneth L. Clarida, 31 years old, of Longs, SC.
It is believed that on October 6, 2014, on Highway 57 in Longs, SC, Lakenneth Clarida shot and subsequently killed Tanya James and fled the scene.
The ATF is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Lakenneth Clarida.
Clarida has ties in the Longs/Wampee community of Horry County.
Clarida is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Clarida is described as a black male, 6 ft. 2 in. tall, 193 lbs., with multiple tattoos on his hands and arms and a “Roxie” tattoo on the right side of his neck.
