NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A North Carolina woman faces numerous charges after she drove drunk with her 3-year-old daughter in the car, attempted to fight officers and urinated in the patrol car on the way to jail, according to a North Myrtle Beach Police incident report.

The report details how 27-year-old Lauren Marie Warf, of Southport, NC, drove “erratically from the 710 Bowling Alley parking lot” into the parking lot of Wango Tango, nearly hitting a parked car, prompting a security officer to call police. When officers arrived, they immediately noticed a toddler sitting in the rear passenger seat of the car. Warf was unable to answer simple questions and reeked of alcohol, according to the report.

Warf began screaming at the officer who was attempting to ask her questions and “attempted to exit the vehicle violently,” causing

the officer to pull out his taser. The officer then asked the seemingly intoxicated woman to get out of her car, to which she refused, forcing the officer to pull her from the vehicle, the report states.

A Department of Social Services agent was called and the 3-year-old little girl was taken into state custody.

While being transported to J. Reuben Long Detention Center, Warf began “screaming violently and making threats” toward the officer. The report goes on to say that Warf was kicking and head-butting the car doors and appeared to be hallucinating. The officer notes that Warf was “looking at the empty seat beside her and speaking to multiple individuals that were not there.”

While screaming, making threats to the officer and speaking to non-existent passengers, Warf removed her seatbelt and pants, then urinated in the floor and seat of the patrol car, the officer notes. Warf’s feet were bloody from kicking the car door, her clothes were drenched in urine and she continued to fight the officer as he attempted to remove her from the car when the arrived at the jail, the report states.

Warf was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center Saturday at 1:05 a.m. and released Sunday morning on a $3,385 bond. Warf is charged with DUI, driving under suspension, vehicle required to be registered and licensed, resisting arrest, and child endangerment.
