FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Rebel Pie Wood-fired Pizza in Florence was named South Carolina’s best pizza spot by MSN.com.
MSN put out a list of the Best Pizza in all 50 states last month.
“Areas that most people associate with culinary world in South Carolina, people tend to go to Charleston, Greenville and Columbia first so for little Florence to get something like that, it’s exciting,” Owner Alan Cooke said.
The restaurant opened in 2012 in Timmonsville and moved to its current location in Florence in June of 2013.
The owner says they push out close to 80 pizzas every day. Some of their most popular items include the meat quartet pizza and the rotating “Pie of the Month”.
