FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Days after being extradited to South Carolina, rapper Kodak Black has been released on a $100,000 bond.
Kodak Black, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, was booked in South Carolina this week after being charged with criminal sexual conduct in an incident that happened in February.
The 19-year-old was set to be released from jail in August but authorities found outstanding warrants on a drug charge in Florida and the South Carolina sexual assault case.
The incident report from police says the victim reported the alleged assault to her school nurse around Feb. 6, 2016.
The victim says she and a friend were at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Florence after a concert with Octave and another person. Reports say the victim and the suspect went to a separate room alone when he became physically aggressive and sexually assaulted her.
Records show he was booked Monday at 11:04 p.m. at the Florence County Detention Center and released Thursday at 2:47 p.m. on a $100,000 surety bond.
