ATLANTA, G.A. (AP) – Rapper “Bow Wow” was arrested for assault in Atlanta during Super Bowl weekend.

The Fulton county sheriff’s office says “Bow Wow,” who’s real name is Shad Moss, was arrested early Saturday morning and faces misdemeanor battery charges.

A woman at the scene said Moss assaulted her while he claimed she assaulted him.

Police say both had visible injuries and both now face charges.

The 31-year-old was born in Columbus, Ohio, but now lives in Atlanta.

He’s best known for his rap music and movie roles in the early 2000’s.
