MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Quilts of Valor Foundation honored Myrtle Beach Police Department personnel who served in the armed forces during a time of conflict with a quilt presentation Monday afternoon.
The quilt presentation program included the department’s Honor Guard and a short history of the Quilts of Valor. The one-of-a-kind quilts were presented, the name of the quilt maker was announced, and the quilt was draped around the officer’s shoulders.
Police Department veterans who received a Quilt of Valor included Milton Adams, Jerry Camacho, Shea Clarkson, Bishop Gibson, Nathan Howitt, Mike Hull, Jocelyn Jameson, Tony Lever, K.J. Mann, Richard Mikalatos, Cheryl Thomas, Cameron Warren, Ben Wilson, Jim Garrett, Mike Damore, Robert Rhodes, Daniel Preciado, Michelle Cox and Andrew Curry.
