AYNOR- Aynor’s seniors Hannah Seaver and Shelby Cox both hit homeruns and the Blue Jackets cruised past Andrew Jackson 8-5 Wednesday to force a game three in the Class 2A State Championship.
Cox started the Blue Jackets off with leadoff homer in the first. In the bottom of the third, Seaver nailed a grand slam to right field to give Aynor a 5-0 lead.
Seaver still wasn’t done. In the bottom of the fifth, she added a solo homerun to left field to make it an 8-1 game.
Aynor and Andrew Jackson will play Friday at South Florence for the state title.
