MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Gordon Mooneyhan, PIO of the Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club, has received the 2018 Philip J. McGan Award for outstanding public relations. The McGan award goes to the ham operator that demonstrates success in Amateur Radio public relations and best exemplifies the volunteer spirit of Phil McGan.
The award will be presented on Monday, September 10, 2018, at the GSARC monthly meeting. The meeting takes place at Myrtle Beach Fire Station #6 on 38th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach. The meeting is at 7:00 PM and the public is invited to attend.
