MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police arrested five people in the Myrtle Beach area after finding a cache of weapons, including two AK-47s, meth, heroin and cocaine.
The guns were seized from a home on the 4300 block of Appaloosa Drive on Feb. 18:
- Two AK-47 Draco’s
- Three Glock 19’s 9MM
- Two Glock 43’s 9MM
- MMP Bodyguard .380 cal.
- GSG 1911 .22 cal.
- Springfield 9MM
- Sig Sauer 9MM
Arrested on weapons and drug charges are Jose Barrera, 54, Jose Barrera Jr., 25, Courtney Mills, 23, Christian Mitchell, 21, and Clayton Nichols, 22.
Horry County police also seized 344 grams of meth, 90 grams of heroin, two pounds of marijuana and $3,564 in cash.
Jose Barrera Jr’s charges include trafficking meth over 10 grams, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, trafficking heroin over 28 grams, trafficking meth over 200 grams, possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was released on $52,500 bail.
Christian Mitchell’s charges include trafficking meth over 10 grams, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, trafficking heroin over 28 grams, trafficking meth over 200 grams, possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He remains in the J Reuben Long Detention Center on $42,500 bond.
Jose Barrera’s charges include possession with intent to distribute marijuana, trafficking heroin over 28 grams, trafficking meth over 200 grams, possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was released on $32,500 bond.
Courtney Mills’ charges include possession with intent to distribute marijuana, trafficking heroin over 28 grams, trafficking meth over 200 grams, possession of a weapon during a violent crime. She was released on $32,500 bond.
Clayton Nichols is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was released on $7,500 bond.
