Police say missing Conway woman found safe

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- Conway Police say they have located a woman that family members say missing for a little more than a week.

In a press release, police say Veola Jackson, 54 of Conway hadn’t been seen since Friday, April 24th, when she was dropped off at the Coast RTA in Conway to travel to Georgia.

The family said that Ms. Jackson never arrived in Georgia and has not been heard from since she was dropped off at the bus station. Veola Angeline Jackson is 5’1, around 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing an all white jeans and a top. One leg of the jeans were torn and she was carrying a small suitcase.
