CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Police have charged a Conway man for reportedly sending nude photos to minors on Snapchat.
Police say Solar Chase Davis, 20, sent several nude photos exposing his genitals to juveniles. In the photos, “the suspect appeared to be wearing a white diaper and a ‘Remington’ tattoo on the left forearm,” according to the report.
The juvenile victims told Horry County Police they knew the suspect, however his face was not visible in the photos nor on his Snapchat profile, according to the report.
The Snapchat profiles of the juveniles all had false birthdates showing them as adult in age, according to the report. “At no time did any messages between all parties expose the juveniles true age.”
According to the incident report, the judge would not sign off on a warrant because the profiles of the juveniles were presented as adults and there was no evidence to identify the suspect.
However, evidence was eventually found confirming the identify of Davis, according to police.
Davis was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Thursday on three counts of unlawful dissemination of obscene material to a person under 18 years of age. He has been released on $5,000 bond.
