MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach Police have released a sketch of the suspected gunman in a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at 1501 N. Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.
Lt. Joey Crosby of the Myrtle Beach Police Department says the victim was stopped in traffic when he began exchanging words with a male walking on the sidewalk. The two then got into an altercation where the man from the car was shot by the man from the sidewalk.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he is being treated.
Crosby says additional information will be collected once investigators are cleared by medical staff to interview the victim.
A sketch of the suspect was released Monday morning. The suspect is described as white male, in his twenties, slim build, and last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts.
