LORIS, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department has released photos of two armed robbers who fired shots at an IGA Thursday night in Loris.

Horry County police were called to the IGA on Broad Street around 10 p.m. Thursday to assist Loris Police Department officers in an armed robbery investigation.

The report from police says two suspects wearing dark clothing and ski masks entered the store, fired two shots into the ceiling, took cash and fled. Shell casings were found on the floor of the business.

The bloodhound unit was called in to help officers look for the suspects in the area behind Palmetto Way Apartments, but the track ended without success.

The report did not note whether or not anyone was injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information related to the robbery or who may be able to identify the suspects in the photographs is asked to call the Horry County Police Department at 843.915.8477.
