Police name suspect in Georgetown bank robbery

GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – The Georgetown Police Department released the name and photo of the man who they believe robbed The Citizens Bank Wednesday morning.

Officials say Lebron Marsh is wanted on an armed robbery of a bank charge. Immediately following the robbery Wednesday, one person was detained but no arrests have been made.

According to Captain Nelson Brown with the police department, officers were called to The Citizens Bank, located at 1510Exchange Street, following a robbery shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Capt. Brown confirms the robber was armed with a gun, but no one was hurt during the crime.

Capt. Brown says the suspect reportedly left the scene in a white vehicle.
