CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Conway police announced Tuesday they were searching for a man accused of firing shots on Fourth Avenue. Police caught the suspect the next day. 

Booking information from J Reuben Long Detention Center confirms 36-year-old David Mark Dixon was arrested by Horry County police Wednesday night. 

Lt. Selena Small with the Conway police Department says Dixon was wanted for attempted murder. Dixon reportedly shot at a car around 7:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Fourth Avenue, the release from police states. When officers responded to the area, they found a victim who said their car had been shot.

Dixon is 6’5″ tall, about 275 pounds and he was last seen driving a silver Chevy Equinox.
