FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence Police search for the person who shot at the door of an apartment on the northwest side of the city Saturday morning.
Maj. Carlos Raines, spokesman for the Florence Police Department, said dispatch responded to reports of “multiple shots fired” in the 100-block of North Franklin Street around 10 a.m.
When officers arrived to the area, they found an apartment door that had been struck with multiple bullets. Raines tells News13 some of the bullets entered the apartment, damaging walls and a refrigerator. Investigators on scene report they found bullet fragments inside and outside of the apartment.
One person inside of the apartment told Florence Police they were sleeping when they heard only one shot. No one was hurt.
