LAKE CITY, SC (WBTW) – Lake City Police arrested a man who they claim pointed a gun at several people in a gas station parking lot and demanded money.
Officers with the Lake City Police Department were dispatched to the Busy Corner Gas Station, located at 100 S. Ron McNair Blvd., Sunday around 6 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they saw the suspect jump into a tan-in-color van and stopped it at gunpoint. According to a police report sent to News13,officers found a 40 caliber handgun in the center console of the vehicle. Officers say the victims on scene later identified the gun as the one pointed at them.
According to the police report, two of the victims told police the suspect said he needed money to take care of his six kids, while pointing a gun at their heads. The report further states a third victim alleged he attempted to grab and wrestle with the suspect, while a fourth told police the suspect allegedly put his hands around their neck and pointed a gun at themt.
Lake City Police arrested Daniel Levi Graziani, 26, of Florence, and charged him with two counts of attempted armed robbery; threatening life, person or family of public official teacher, principal; and two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
According to the Florence County Detention Center, Graziani has not been granted bond.
