CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Stackhouse Drive early Friday morning.
According to a police report, officers were called to Conway Medical Center for a gunshot wound victim and later established a crime scene in front of a home on Stackhouse Drive, off of Highway 65 in Conway.
Police say several shell casings were found in front of the home and blood was found on the front porch. The victim, a 51-year-old man, according to the report, is in critical but stable condition, says police spokesperson Krystal Dotson.
Dotson says officers have not named a suspect in the case, but the investigation is ongoing.
