LAKE CITY, SC (WBTW) – Lake City police have identified the man they say is responsible for a shooting in the parking lot of a nightclub over the weekend.
Officers are investigating a shooting that happened near the back of Mary’s Club on South Ron McNair Boulevard around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
Lake City Police Chief Kipp Coker says one person was shot while walking to the club, near the back of the business. The victim was taken to a local hospital, confirms Chief Coker.
Investigators say Johnathan Kirby is wanted for the shooting and has warrants for attempted murder and possession fo a weapon during a violent crime.
