Police find meth lab in Myrtle Beach apartment during robbery investigation

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach Police Department found a working meth lab in an apartment while investigating two men for an armed robbery that took place Saturday night in a 2nd Avenue North motel.

Two men face multiple charges.

According to the incident report, officers responded to an armed robbery where the victim says two men robbed him.



After an investigation, police charged 31 year old Jason Michael Brown with armed robbery.



Brown then pulled a knife out demanding money.



During the investigation, police say they noticed a strong ammonia smell while in the second suspects apartment.



43 year old John Samuel Evans faces multiple drug charges including manufacturing and trafficking meth in his apartment.
