CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – At Monday night’s Public Safety Committee meeting Horry County Police presented the latest staffing numbers.
According to Chief Joseph Hill, there are zero vacancies for patrol resources in the department.
Hill also reports two vacancies in the detectives bureau and says three previous officers are attempting to rejoin the force.
Though the numbers appear low, according to national standards, staffing is still not where it should be.
