MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A plane carrying a NASCAR team headed to Charlotte, North Carolina, made an emergency landing at Memphis International Airport.
The plane was returning from the NASCAR race in Las Vegas when smoke was reported in the cabin, WREG reported.
WREG reported that members of the Hendrick Motorsports team were on board the plane at the time. The plane landed safely.
The Associated Press reported that the plane was being evaluated for issues and the passengers would return on another flight.
