MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A driver in a pickup has been charged with DUI after hitting a school bus on Friday morning.
Children were on the bus when it was hit but no one was injured, according to Myrtle Beach Police Cpl. Tom Vest.
The driver ran a stop sign at Pine Drive and Ramsey Drive, according to Vest. A bond hearing is scheduled for this afternoon.
James Johnson 43, was arrested in the case, according to Vest.
Myrtle Beach booking records show Johnson is charged with DUI, less than .10 for a first offense.
