Willy, the Conure, was featured as the “Pet of the Weekend” on June 3, 2018.
Jan sent us photos and video of Willy.
He’s 26-years-old and still plays like a puppy.
Willie is very protective of his mom and loves for her to pet and cuddle him.
A few years ago, she taught him to roll over.
He can also say things like “here kitty kitty” and “gimme a kiss.”
But at night, when he’s falling asleep, he says “I love you.”
Pet of the Weekend airs every Saturday and Sunday morning on News13’s hour-long newscast from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
