Person wanted by Horry County police for December home invasion in custody; 1 still wanted

One person who was wanted by the Horry County Police Department for a December home invasion is in custody and another is still wanted. 

Lindsey Elston is in custody as of about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to Mikayla Moskov, with Horry County. Leonard “Ox” Wilson is still wanted.

According to a press release from Moskov, the home invasion happened in December 2018. 

“Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Wilson, Elston and three other subjects entered the home while armed, beat the victim and tied him up before leaving the home with numerous items,” stated the release. Three other people were previously arrested in the case.

Both are reportedly known to spend time in the Gale Acres community, the release also said. Elston was wanted on charges of possession of weapon during a violent crime, kidnapping, armed robbery, attempted murder, and first degree burglary. Wilson is wanted on the same charges and also reportedly faces a felon in possession of a weapon charge. 

Wilson, 32, is described as 6 feet, 4 inches tall and about 300 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
