One person is in the hospital after a shooting at a Florence park Tuesday night.

Lt. Mike Brandt with the Florence Police Department says officers responded around 6 p.m. to the emergency department of McLeod Regional Medical Center, in reference to a patient arriving with a gunshot wound.

Officers spoke with the victim and determined the incident happened at 356 South Jeffords Street, which is Levy Park.

Lt. Brandt told News13 the incident is under investigation and no further information is available at this time.

No arrests have been announced.
