MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach Pelicans won Saturday, clinching the second half Southern Division Championship. The 2016 second half title marks the fourth straight year that the Pelicans have won at least one half. They will now host Game 1 of the Southern Division Championship Series against Salem on Wednesday.
Playoff ticket packages are still available, with the Pelicans hosting Game 1 of the SDCS on Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. from the Grand Strand. Coverage begins at 5:50 p.m. on MyrtleBeachPelicans.com/Broadcast, the MiLB First Pitch app, TuneIn and MiLB.tv.
