MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach Pelicans evened up the Mills Cup Championship series with an 8-3 win over Lynchburg Sunday night at TicketReturn.com field.
Lynchburg scored first in the first inning, but the Pelicans answered in the bottom half of the inning to tie it up. The game broke open in the fifth inning when Myrtle Beach scored five runs. David Bote drove in one of those runs and finished the night with 3 RBIs.
Game 3 is set for Tuesday night in Lynchburg. First pitch is 6:30 p.m.
