West Florence Fire-Rescue crews, and other first responders, responded to a structure fire that started in a laundry room on Wednesday.
Crews from the West Florence Fire-Rescue, Florence Fire Department, and Florence County EMS were on the scene of a structure fire on Briarcliff Drive, according to a post on West Florence Fire-Rescue’s Facebook page. “Engine 221 was on scene within minutes and a quick response limited the damage to one corner of the home.”
“There were no injuries and thankfully the home was equipped with working smoke alarms,” the post also says. “The fire originated in the laundry room, a good reminder to frequently check your dryer filter and vents.”
