Troopers responded to the scene of a bad crash in Florence County Wednesday night.
Highway Patrol reported at least one injury from the crash on McCutcheon Road at East Myrtle Beach Highway, outside of Lake City.
It happened around 6 p.m. Highway Patrol reported at least one person was trapped in a vehicle earlier. A viewer told News13 that a medical helicopter left the scene around 7:30 p.m. According to Highway Patrol’s real-time traffic information website, officials were still responding to the crash as of 9:25 p.m. Troopers later cleared from the scene.
The extent of injuries is not known at this time.
News13 is working to learn whether anyone will be charged in the crash.
