A Timmonsville High School football player was airlifted to the hospital during Friday’s football game.
According to Timmonsville High School Assistant Football Coach Kim Gee, the football player is a senior at the school and was airlifted to a hospital.
Marion County EMS Director Joey Price says a football player at the Marion/Timmonsville football game was flown to a Florence hospital for an injury.
According to the Timmonsville High School Football team’s Twitter page the teen’s condition is improving. They say he has a serious concussion and will be seeing a neurologist.
